The Women and Children Crisis Centre (WCCC) has taken vital support services on the road – this time to the beautiful island communities of Fotua and Fangale’ounga in Ha’apai – delivering mobile counselling and youth empowerment sessions that are changing lives.
With the belief that every woman, no matter where she lives, deserves access to safety, healing, and justice, WCCC’s Mobile Counselling Outreach brings trained counsellors, legal advisors, nurses, and police services directly into remote communities. This One-Stop Service model means women can receive holistic care and support in one place – private, confidential and close to home.
Youth Leading the Way
In a parallel session, WCCC’s dynamic Youth Advocate delivered the HERR Relationship and Stay Safe program to local children and young people. Through creative activities and real talk, youth learned how to identify red flags in relationships, understand their rights, and keep themselves and their friends safe.
“We were honoured to sit with these incredible communities. The strength in our women and the curiosity in our young people inspire us to keep showing up,” said Sela Sausini Tu’ipulotu, WCCC’s One Stop Co-Lead.
