Nuku’alofa, Tonga – The Women and Children Crisis Centre (WCCC) recently conducted an anti-bullying and anti-violence session at Taufa’ahau Pilolevu College, empowering students with knowledge, tools, and strategies to stand up against bullying and all forms of violence.

The session, led by WCCC’s Youth Advocate and team, aimed to educate students on identifying and understanding bullying, its effects, and ways to seek help. Through engaging skits and interactive discussions, students learned to recognise different types of bullying and the importance of speaking up.

WCCC’s initiative aligns with its mission to create a safe and supportive environment for women and children in Tonga. By engaging with schools and communities, WCCC seeks to prevent violence and promote healthy relationships.

“We believe that education and awareness are key to preventing bullying and violence. We’re committed to empowering Tongan youth with the tools and confidence to stand up against bullying and create a safer, more supportive community for all.”
